Do you see life as a series of "storms" that make you feel like a pinball getting knocked around?
Or do you naturally lead from the inside?
As I shared with you at practice yesterday, one of these two outlooks is very likely your "default setting" for how you approach things. Either you're the pinball, just trying to get through the day, and spiraling downward, or you're leading from your core values, enjoying each day and each moment, and spiraling upward. As we begin a new school year, I encourage you all to re-think your importances and consider your own approach. We cannot avoid the "storms" in life, but we can think about them differently - we can see them as challenges to be embraced, as opportunities to grow.
What is truly most important in your life? Do your actions and behaviors (and the way you spend your time and money) reflect those importances?
